NCAA president compliments OU

According to a New York Times online article posted late Thursday, NCAA president Myles Brand had positive remarks about OU and coach Bob Stoops.
During a teleconference Thursday, Brand said, "I want to compliment Coach Stoops. I want to compliment the university insofar as that they took immediate action once they completed their internal investigation."
Brand didn't comment about possible ramifications stemming from violations by Rhett Bomar and J.D. Quinn. Both were paid for work they didn't perform at an auto dealership.
"It leaves open the question about whether there will be an NCAA investigation," he said. "I will not address that."
