I want a pic of you with a funny hat.

Not the pink one...and it has to be a real pic. Find a funny hat (and it'd better be funny), put it on, make a funny face and post it.

We'll wait here.

Speaking of funny hats...

We never got a pic of Pat wearing the mouse ears. And you KNOW there is one.

That's very disappointing. I'm very disappointed, Pat. Very. Disappointed.

I've been thinking of doing something similar...but different.

I took a pic the other day on the highway (yes, while I was driving but it was soooo worth it) of a late 80's model Blazer. It had rust on it, one quarter panel was a different color - I mean this thing was hillbillied-out.

The spare on the back had a nice black cover on it. And it also had the letters O, S and U, all made in three different colors of orange pleather stiched to the cover all nice and crooked. Oh! And it also had a 'POSSE' sticker in the back window.

It was the ultimate aggy vehicle and I had to take a pic of it. It was one of those times when you're by yourself and you really, really wish someone was there to see it with you.

So I thought we should have a 'Official pic I took of something totally hillbilly' thread but I just never did it.

The end.

'Bigfoot' talk stirs town, sparks search

By Penny Cockerell
The Oklahoman

CANEY - Nothing attracts a crowd like a good mystery, especially when it involves something tall, furry and elusive.

That is what happened in Atoka County (http://www.soonerfans.com/keysearch/?er=1&CANONICAL=Atoka%20County&CATEGORY=COUNTY) after news spread of sightings in the tiny town of Caney.

Wednesday, a team of eight experts arrived to search for and, hopefully, capture the creature they call Bigfoot.
"I didn't travel 2,300 miles for nothing," said C. Thomas Biscardi (http://www.soonerfans.com/keysearch/?er=1&CANONICAL=C.%20Thomas%20Biscardi&CATEGORY=PERSON) of Menlo Park, Calif., who has spent the last 33 years in search of Bigfoot.
Biscardi and his team descended on Caney first to interview Jackie Marlow (http://www.soonerfans.com/keysearch/?er=1&CANONICAL=Jackie%20Marlow&CATEGORY=PERSON) and siblings Morgan and Garrett Whatley (http://www.soonerfans.com/keysearch/?er=1&CANONICAL=Garrett%20Whatley&CATEGORY=PERSON), who all are convinced they saw a strange creature, known locally as the Boggy Bottom Monster.
Their two episodes of sightings happened within the last two weeks, a few days apart.
Marlow (http://www.soonerfans.com/keysearch/?er=1&CANONICAL=Jackie%20Marlow&CATEGORY=PERSON) and the Whatleys never called what they saw "Bigfoot." But the name matches the description of a creature that has eluded believers for decades. And the chase has attracted determined folks like Biscardi, who are convinced they'll capture one someday.
"This is what I do for a living," Biscardi said in a phone interview with The Oklahoman (http://www.soonerfans.com/keysearch/?er=1&CANONICAL=The%20Oklahoma%20Publishing%20Company&CATEGORY=COMPANY) on Wednesday. "The Bigfoot hunter is here in town, and we'll get to the bottom of this before the end of the day."
Interest in the creature has disrupted this town of about 200 people. Everyone is talking about the sightings. Some have even gone too far by fabricating photos of a tall, bearish-looking creature fleeing in the heavily wooded area near Clear Boggy Creek (http://www.soonerfans.com/keysearch/?er=1&CANONICAL=Clear%20Boggy%20Creek&CATEGORY=BODIES%20OF%20WATER).
"We've had a lot of calls from all kinds of people from all over and it has taken over the whole town," said Kevin Hilley (http://www.soonerfans.com/keysearch/?er=1&CANONICAL=Kevin%20Hilley&CATEGORY=PERSON), news editor of the Atoka County (http://www.soonerfans.com/keysearch/?er=1&CANONICAL=Atoka%20County&CATEGORY=COUNTY) Times. "It's been an interesting sociological phenomenon. I've never seen anything like it."
Biscardi says he has seen Bigfoot five times throughout the decades. His most recent sighting was 10 miles north of Paris, Texas, which is 75 miles south of Caney.
That sighting and his belief that Bigfoot migrates brought Biscardi to Atoka County (http://www.soonerfans.com/keysearch/?er=1&CANONICAL=Atoka%20County&CATEGORY=COUNTY), where he interviewed Marlow (http://www.soonerfans.com/keysearch/?er=1&CANONICAL=Jackie%20Marlow&CATEGORY=PERSON) and the Whatley (http://www.soonerfans.com/keysearch/?er=1&CANONICAL=Garrett%20Whatley&CATEGORY=PERSON) siblings. He said he showed photos of his sightings to Marlow (http://www.soonerfans.com/keysearch/?er=1&CANONICAL=Jackie%20Marlow&CATEGORY=PERSON), which made her ill.
Marlow (http://www.soonerfans.com/keysearch/?er=1&CANONICAL=Jackie%20Marlow&CATEGORY=PERSON) previously suffered an anxiety attack and needed medical treatment after seeing the creature while smoking a cigarette on her front porch. Biscardi said his photos reminded her of her sighting to the point of throwing up.
"I talked to this woman, and she has seen something," Biscardi said. "Until we came out here it was fun and carnival time, and now that we're here they're taking it seriously."
Biscardi believes about 3,500 of these creatures exist and that they migrate south to north in packs. He figures the timing of his encounter in Lamar County (http://www.soonerfans.com/keysearch/?er=1&CANONICAL=Lamar%20County&CATEGORY=COUNTY) in Texas coincides with them traveling north in time to be spotted in Caney.
Wednesday, Biscardi and his team armed themselves with equipment and confidence and scoured the woods around Caney to try to capture one of them.
Team member Bob Schmalzbach (http://www.soonerfans.com/keysearch/?er=1&CANONICAL=Bob%20Schmalzbach&CATEGORY=PERSON) thinks they found a lair. He said they found a spot in the woods where something -- not a known animal -- had built something like a half-tent using woven branches and leaves. He said they found what could have been dried footprints, but they weren't distinguishable enough to tell. They also found broken branches and partially eaten fruit.
So the search continues.
"We're on our way to Paris (Texas) (http://www.soonerfans.com/keysearch/?er=1&CANONICAL=Paris%20%28Texas%29&CATEGORY=CITY) and hopefully we're going to capture one down there," Biscardi said.

Can we create a lame-o forum just for those pictures (maybe call it "Photo Central), so that any stream-of-consciousness organic humor can be stomped out of the concept as quickly as possible?
