I'm surprised they didn't list the Nebraska player hitting a fan on the field after a game. They played that shot on tv quite a bit when it happened.

Their list lost all credibility when they spoke of the Big 8's late '80s problems and there was no mention whatsoever of the poster child- Hart Lee Dykes.

On the SMU write up, more should have been written about the entire SWC (cept Texas ;) and Rice). I think it was Rice that was the ONLY team not on some sort of NCAA probation/sanction through the 80s/90s. That was sure a weird time in our region -- both SWC and Big 8 going through crap. Though without it, we may not have the Big 12.
