No matter who takes over at QB the OL is now the key. Coach Patton will earn his paycheck this year. If our OL comes together early in 2 a days and gains some familiarity and continuity with one another then our QB will be fine. We all know that teams are going to put 8 in the box and make Halzle, PT, etc. beat them and if the line can give any of them time and the QB hits the open man it will loosen up the D for AD and all will be good. I personally think the team will now have a chip on its shoulder and look to the challenge of proving that they can be great without Bomar. It gives them something to rally around and grow more dependent on one another to carry out thier jobs to help the team win. Coach Stoops will certainly use this as a challenge to them.
