I know, I am being touchy too...it is just a crappy day...not what any of us had dreamed of for this year...
At least Roy Williams got a good contract. Did you hear about Roy Williams' new contract? It's wonderful news.

Touchy? Moi? Nah. Just tired of nimrods starting new threads on an already very OLD topic. Nothing personal.

I would say this is the biggest disappointment since Dupree left....

I may be dumb, but I ain't stupid.
remember when fans used to chant "hit hybl harder" hoping that they'd send in hunter instead?

at least he never let us down off the field.

I totally agree...
Anybody that thinks this **** isn't going down everywhere in the country is smoking crack.
Not saying it's right or promoted by coaches, but we just got caught.

Man, dean is pretty touchy today...I was unaware that I was offending people for my thread earlier, geeZ!! On a little bit better note, think about how great of a story it would be if Paul Wall came in and plays well and takes us to a Bcs or title game...now that would be awesome and a great story

He never really let you down on the field either. He lost a few games, but he won a hell of a lot more than he lost and brought home OU and the Big XII's first Rose Bowl trophy.
He was a damned fine QB and deserves nothing but respect for his conduct on and off the field.

Sub-par qb at best. Enough said.

I just got a phone call from a buddy of mine in Norman to vent. (I'm in Kansas again for a couple of days.) He just heard and wanted the details. I said "You're in Norman calling a guy in Wichita for details? If I can get info from the innerweb, so can you!"
Heh.

I agree, Paul Wall has a lot of potential. Hunter Thompson is my fav to win the job. though.

Nope. Patrick Rawls has it all sewn up.
