He's 21 now and a young man. If we teach children to be responsible as they get older, then a young man should know more about responsibility than Bomar showed in his brief career at OU. Instead of focusing on winning a national title, he chose to focus on fast money. Now, he just lost a chance to make tons of money in the NFL. Eventually, he'll play ball somewhere else, but this is a major setback for him. He has no one to blame but himself. I'm sure these things go on everywhere, but you can't be stupid about it. He was wrong from the get-go, but he compounded the situation with greed. He let down more than himself and family, he let down OU nation. Stoops has to ban his players from Big Red Sports. For years, they have been accused of funneling money to players, either from boosters or someone else. I'm surprised this didn't happen earlier.
