So - would he take an NFL job now?

The NFL jobs don't have this kind of headache, but I'm sure they have plenty of problems that aren't there in college athletics.

But besides all that, I don't think he would bail on us right now. Any problems we have right now occurred under his watch; hopefully he'll stick around to right any wrongs.

Man, I'm in such a bad mood, I almost negged you for even bringing it up. Ugh.

No, especially since now the fans respect him even more. It might be tough, but I think he did the best thing for the long run of our program.

I don't think the offers would be there. The NFL has moved on.

UNLESS, his agent gets permission to put his name out there.

this does deserve a neg though.

I guess in the NFL you just have to deal with prima donnas like Terrel Owens.

I think he stays to put us back where we were before these morons screwed the team.

And tell me Terrel to Dallas wasn't a huge marketing ploy by the NFL...

OUr news today is sickening. But I hope Upchurch is right and this is Thompsons big chance. It would sure make a great story.

I think an NFL job would be more appealing to Stoops if they paid him bonuses based on the size of ba!!$...cause they are huge! Damn that man can make the hard decisions.

Lets see...hmmm, Joe C./Boren for bosses versus Dan Snyder/Jerry Jones/Al Davis/Malcom Glazer.
**** that...Bob's not going somewhere he has to deal with a basket case owner like them.
