I am sure this will bring a plethora of scathing replies but I see a repeat of the UT season when Randy McEachern came in off the bench to take the helm and lead the horns to a very good season.
Hays is a very capable athlete, and a smart young man who is very well prepared and if given the opportunity will acquit himself very well.
We are going to win without Bomar and quite frankly are better off without him.

It would be a wonderful story, but McEachern is not the second in line. Thompson and Halzle will duke it out, most likely.

Agree with Katy's. And it means NOTHING what the depth chart says right now; McEachern's dad was 4th at the beginning of the season ('77) and due to injuries, came in to the RRS, helped Texas beat OU and led the team to an undefeated season.

If given the chance, young McEachern will do a good job.
