Meet the Sooners Day
The University of Oklahoma Athletics Department will conduct its annual
Meet the Sooners Day presented by Alltel for the 2006 OU football team
on Friday, Aug. 4, on the practice fields immediately south of Gaylord
Family - Oklahoma Memorial Stadium.
Beginning at 7 a.m., Gate 7 (NE corner of stadium near intersection of
Brooks and Jenkins) will open to the general public and a line will form
under the east side of the stadium. General public in the line will be
admitted to the event beginning at 10:30 a.m.
The autograph session will end promptly at noon.
The event will include inflatable interactive games and music. Aramark
will be selling water on the field and concessions will be open under
the east side of the stadium. Fans may bring their own bottled water,
but no other outside food or drink will be permitted. Restrooms will be
open on the east side of the stadium.
Sooner Kids' Club
The Sooner Kids' Club will accept walk-up applications beginning at 8
a.m. on Friday, Aug. 4 at the northeast corner of the football practice
facility (near the Switzer Center entrance).
Members of the OG+E Sooner Kids' Club

will proceed to Switzer Center Plaza and will be admitted into the
event, along with a parent or guardian, beginning at 9:45 a.m. This is
45 minutes before admission for the general public.
Current membership cards must be presented at the Sooner Kids' Club
table. Children K-8th grade are eligible to join the Sooner Kids' Club
for an annual membership fee of $30.

All student lots will be available for public parking. This includes the
lots immediately east and south of the stadium. Asp Ave. parking
facility decks No. 4-6 will also be open to the public. No parking will
be permitted under the stadium. Parking in faculty/staff lots is
prohibited without proper decal.
