I'm not sure if it's been posted here before.
Check this out. (http://svs.gsfc.nasa.gov/vis/a000000/a003300/a003354/index.html) Look at the 27 storms section. The mpeg-1 file is 135MB, but it's worth the download time. It's everyday in the 2005 hurricane season. You'll see a running list of storms on the right.
It's pretty damn neato.
