Hello Soonerfans.com!

In a continuing effort to make this the best of all the school affiliated message boards, your illustrious leader Road Hog has asked me to provide some much needed insight for the upcoming Sooner football match.

Since it's already mid-week of the OU-Texas game, I thought I'd begin by sharing a little inside information that you guys might find interesting.

"Inside Scoop" if you will.

You will?

Great!

As most of you know, it is only a few days until the Sooners make their yearly trip down to Austin, Texas to the Red River Corral. This year the matchup is just like every other year.

Tensions are mounting.

The pitch is feverish.

Head coaches are feeling the pressure.

Unlike last year's meeting, though, the coaching tables have turned. Asked what his status for the game was, Texas coach Mack Brown said only, "I'm 100 percent. I feel great."

This year, it's Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops that is on the hot seat. Taking his number 1 ranked Sooners into this rivalry, Bob has nothing to gain from the meeting and everything to lose.

Not comforting words to the Sooner Nationals.

Not comforting at all.

At all.

All.

Couple this with the fact that Roy (the Legend) Williams is rumored to be returning for his Sr. year just to play in this one game, you wouldn't expect the fans to have much hope.

In fact, this is exactly what we're seeing in cyber space.

SoonerTimes, one of the more respected and knowledgeble of the Sooner "internet" message communities, on their front page, had "Oooouch," "How Would You Stop Our Offense?" and "Do you like my new sig?"

Not exactly words from folks looking forward to the game.

Not exactly.

And if you look down across the Red, you'll see confidence is brimming from the Orange faithful.

Texas quarterback Selvin Young is reported to be anxious to play and has guaranteed that Texas will run the table the remainder of the season. If Too bad for Texas that they lost earlier this year to Alabama (the same Alabama team that Oklahoma beat in Birmingham). If not for that, Texas would probably be the team coming in number 1.

But you always throw out the records when these two teams play.

That's exactly what Texas hopes to do.

Throw out OU's record.

Their undefeated record.

We'll see.

This weekend in Austin.

The war between the States.

The war.

War.

Never really knew who she was until last year. Never really read her stuff. Understood the tormented punctuation and line breaks that were reputed to be her m.o.
But never until this thread did I really put together how woeful her 'style' truly is.
Thank you for posting this so that I am never tempted to check out her 'writing' again.
