A twenty degree difference? Doubtful. I think you're screwing up the Fahrenheit conversion.

More importantly, it's about the 4th really rainy day in a row!!!:D
Drive time 8 hours, but really time stands still when you are driving through the Texas panhandle.

They must be using some kind of crazy heat index calculation.

That isn't uncommon around here. We rarely get any temps above 35 C, but heat index/humidex has been in the 40's for the past 4 days, and is forecast for the next 3.

Our humidity here can be pretty nasty, being surrounded by large bodies of water.

That web site says Norman feels like 109 F. The National Weather Service says it feels like 100 F. I attribute the difference to the fact that Canadians have no idea what anything above 90 F feels like so anything higher than that is a guess. :texan:

No, we rarely get over 90 without humidity, but this area of Ontario is known for its high humidity....nothing like the Texas/Oklahoma area, but it is humid.

http://weather.edition.cnn.com/weather/search?wsearch=toronto

That is pretty hot for this part of the country....

On the way home, the radio said it felt like 44 C, another website said that it felt like 38. I have no idea who to believe, but it is freakin' hot and that is all I can say about that. At 11 PM, it was still 30 C without the humidity.

We are hitting records here this week, as much of the midwest US is. My A/C can't even get our house below 78 F.

That is the crazy thing. It hasn't been very hot tempertaure-wise lately. I know I live in Houston, but it seems like the humidity has been very bad lately. Today is a good day though. I was in Buffalo, NY and Toronto a couple of weeks ago and they were near 100 while Houston was in the lower 80s. It is more miserable there though because it seems like no one has A/C up there. I do feel sorry for all of you in Oklahoma getting the 100+ weather though. I don't miss that one bit.
