Yep. Red Rocks in Colorado. At first I thought I had my dates crossed and was at a jam band show. I saw more white people with dreadlocks tonight than I have seen in my entire life combined. I'm not kidding.

Damn dirty hippies.

was that tonight? i guess so. i thought about buying some tix of ebay....but 100$ to go was a little pricey for me--Ween is cool enough i suspose, but if it was just the Lips i might have done it. Red Rocks is pretty cool. but, outdoor show/venue element is a little snarky in Colorado, as you observed.

there's a pretty good Lips version of war pigs on youtube. FWIW.

I'm still here. Scootering back to Red Rocks today with a couple hundred other scooters. And yeah, War Pigs was awesome. Wayne wore his ginormous hands for that one.

Red Rocks: nearly as impressive by daylight. Maybe moreso if you're strictly interested in the nature part. Of course, I had to mark off for not having the Flaming Lips on stage today. But, I did find a fragment of a huge green balloon that the cleaning people missed, plus all of the yellow confetti that I could stuff in my pockets, so like, bonus!
