After this *ss-kicking of a week, I stopped at a retail giant that shall remain nameless and picked up a sixer of Michey Ultra Amber and resisted the urge to drink one in the car while driving home. Gonna fire up the Ultimate Bet and get my *ss kicked in new and exotic ways and enjoy some brews.

The funny thing is I can drink most of a bottle of wine and be way less drunk than if I drank a similar amount of beer. Maybe I buy really strong beer, but it seems like the increased volume has something to do with it.

You know what's awesome? If you add tequila and triple sec to a can of 7-Up (or similar) it'll almost substitute for an actual margarita. Well, if you're out of limes anyway.
It's at least as good as a rum-and-coke, but I'm out of coke, so I'll go with this.

There was this restaurant in Seattle years ago called Telaqui Paqi (or something like that). They served shots of tequila with a small amount of 7-Up floated on top. They put a towel over the shot, slammed it on the table and you grabbed it an drank it. It's been a few years since I was in college so this may be what is now referred to as a tequila shooter. Anyway, it was a good and fun way to knock down a few drinks.
