Days after he (Gary Darnell) was added to the staff, Darnell called (linebacker Justin) Warren.

"It was Christmas break!" Warren said. "I was like, 'this is an old-school coach.' I was just trying to sleep in. He called me at home to see if I was working out. I went right back to bed."

I just thought that was weird. I know he's just a college kid, but if my new defensive coordinator called and asked if I was working out, I probably wouldn't go right back to bed.

So... how many wins does A&M to avoid a COMPLETE firing of the coaching staff? C'mon people, we need some over/under odds going!

...and of course, how many wins before they fire the players, yell leaders, corps of cadet and reville.

My prediction:
9 wins-Francione and staff are retained.
8 wins- Franchione and staff are retained with a bowl/Texas win.
7 wins- Franchione and staff are retained with a Texas win.
6 wins- Staff are retained at new coach's discretion.
5 wins- Staff is NOT retained, but they might end up at Baylor.
4 wins- Yell leaders tossed in Fish Pond... and not retained.
3 wins- Corps of Cadets receive a boot kick... and not retained.
2 wins- Bonfire discontinued, seen as bad luck... and therefore not retained.
1 win- Reville not retained. List eater promoted to role of school's dog.
0 wins- "Aggies" change official mascot to "Cowboys."
