i met harry kalas at the phillies/braves game on sunday night. just in case you don't know... he's a legend in the broadcast business with a great baseball voice. had him sign a pic for me.

my GF used to work for the sports radio station here. still has some connections. we were treated like royalty for a bit.

Harry Kalas also does the voiceovers for the NFL Films highlights. If I'm not mistaken, he replaced the legendary John Facenda in that role.

I also remember Kalas for doing the Notre Dame basketball games on the defunct MetroSports network in the early 1980s, which were also simulcast on the early days of ESPN.
