Whats the best way to find a roomate?

being that i will be sorta single for the next couple months I need to find a roomate in the Bartlesville area. either that or pay the grand to stay in a motel each month.

Don't some apt rental agencies offer help in finding a roommate.
Also, check newspaper ads.
Be sure your bedroom door has a lock. So stuff doesn't get stolen while you are at work.
What about a residental inn type place?

I found my new roomates on Craigslist.com I don't know how active it is for the area you are going to, but it is worth a shot.
