Let's see how this game pans OUt...

I'll start it off, we'll say every ten posts is a new quarter.

Hartley kicks off sky-high and Jamaal Charles grabs it at the 17. Reggie levels him where he stands! Crowd goes wild.

Jevan Snead starts the game for Texas. Davis calls the zone read on first down, Lattimer makes the tackle for a loss of 1 yard. Mack Brown asks Greg Davis who the slow guy is, and why VY isn't in the game.

2nd down- Swing pass to Jamal Charles looks promising at first but Nic Harris and Rufus make the tackle for a gain of 5. Charles asks the refs for unecessary roughness because he doesn't get tackled when he runs the 100 meters.

3rd down- Snead back to pass. McCoy and Granger get penetration up the middle and Ah You comes around the end for a sack, loss of 8. Mack Brown pulls out his cell phone and calls VY, tells him to suit up ASAP.

Punt is caught by Demarco Murray at the OU forty. Goes left, then reverses field ala Little Joe and avoids 5 tackles, goes out of bounds at the 50. Late hit on Texas.

OU ball at the UT 35.

the sooners come to the line in an ace formation and run a draw to peterson, who runs through the heart of the texas defense for the score. after hartley's pat, sooners are up 7-0 after only one offensive play: a 35-yard touchdown scamper by heisman frontrunner adrian peterson

Jamaal Charles takes Hartley's kickoff at the 2. After juking two would-be tacklers he is upended like a rag doll by Demarrio Pleasant at the 12! Whorn fans groan as Charles is slow to get up and trainers lead him unsteadily to the sideline. Mack claps frantically as the ut offense trots back onto the field.

Mack can't decide which QB to play, so he sends both out. McCoy gets the snap under center and lateral's it back to Snead who attempts to throw a pass to Melton out of the backfield. Pass is intercepted by Birdine who walks into the endzone unscathed. OU goes for two and converts on a pass from Bomar to JJ Finley.
