So, I got engaged this weekend.

Asked the girlfriend to marry me at Lake Fort Gibson at Sunset on Saturday. Luckily, she said yes. I think asking her Dad was almost as nerve racking as asking her. :D

We live in Dallas, and all her family lives in the Tulsa/Sapulpa area, so she was able to share it with her entire immediate family. She hasn't stopped smiling yet, so that alone is worth it.

She is an Oklahoma graduate and she may be more excited about the upcoming football season than planning a wedding.

Now, if I've been paying attention the last couple of years on here, my life is pretty much downhill from here, and I all the stuff I like doesn't matter anymore. ;)
