I'd be more worried about if he was going to invest some money and, I don't know, maybe hire someone that can actually write a decent movie. The last several have sucked.

I'd be more worried about if he was going to invest some money and, I don't know, maybe hire someone that can actually write a decent movie. The last several have sucked.

right now the writers listed on the project are Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci. Both were writers for tv shows Hercules, Xena, Jack of all Trades, and Alias, as well as movies The Island, The Legend of Zorro, and Mission Impossible III.

Aside from those two and Abrams the producers are Bryan Burk and Damon Lindelof. Both are producers of Lost and Lindelof also was a producer and writer for Nash Bridges and Crossing Jordan.

It's being produced by Paramount, special effects by industrial light and magic, music by Michael Giacchino (who did the music for Mission Impossible III and The Incredibles)



previous rumored Kirks included Jude Law and Ryan Reynolds...but for now they're sticking with the Damon rumor.


Honestly, from everyone associated with this movie I'm pretty excited. It's a good group of people. I'm okay with all these choices :D

How about macaulay culkin, or leo decrappio? (Only half joking on that one, actually. Leo would be just as good as Matt Damon)

well.... i dunno. i agree he's a good actor but Leo just doesn't seem like Kirk to me. DAmon comes much closer IMO

DAmon comes much closer IMOI guess my most recent memory of matt damon is the character in Team America World Police, who couldn't say anything but "Matt Damon". I keep picturing him in a Star Fleet shirt going "James Kirk" in that same retarded voice.:D
