Had a great spring by most accounts, but I don't think he did enough in that time to lock up the backup job. Bradford will be given an opportunity to compete for it.

Kid's got a good arm, can move a bit, looks like he really grinds on it in the pocket.

Really looking forward to seeing the improvements over the summer, As much as Bomar likes to tuck and run, and his penchant for getting hit (and hard at that), we need a solid backup while the cobwebs clear.

all i've seen of him was when i went to the spring game and reggie smith was his favorite receiver. only problem is, reggie smith plays defense. he was horrible in the scrimmage.

Not a rub... If that was the case, how come he didn't get any offers? The linked article mentioned that Oregon wanted him to walk-on. But nobody else wanted him?

Seriously, that's kind of odd. Did he get hurt or something in high school? He broke his ankle before his freshman year at Golden West.

Seems like I remember reading somewhere that he got into football relatively late...maybe it kept him under the radar.

Not quite. He didn't participate in the Elite 11 camp, he was just a finalist. Or maybe he did participate. His website said he did, but I've heard other places that he was a finalist only.

He didn't receive any offers out of high school because he was very small. He's bulked up quite a bit. By like 40 pounds.
