Okay, here's the deal. Have two brands of similar booze. Taste one then the other. Report which is best.

Tailwind and I have Jim Beam and Jack Daniels.

We will report later.

I don't have two different kinds of the same type of liquor in my house. The closest I could get is an Irish vs. Scotch whiskey comparison. But I don't need to. (Normally I prefer the Scotch, but in the particular case of The Dalwhinnie vs. Bushmills 10 year, well, Bushmills wins by a lot.)

I suppose I could do an orange liqueur vs. apple brandy, but those aren't the same thing at all.

Homey got obliterated on "Southern Comfort" on a Tuesday night when he was a college junior in 1981. To this day, he cannot even abide the smell, much less the taste, of bourbon or the Tennessee wanna-be bourbon that is Jack Daniels. Just saying.

Tailwind

It's from the "Roses In the Snow" album. Have you ever been to Nashville? I spent some time there long ago....when Emylou and I were really, really young. :)
