Typical shorthorn jealousy!!!! Still thinks there was more to his team last year than just "Vincy".......

You're right, Vince did it all by himself. He intercepted Leinert's pass in the end zone and stopped LenDale White on 4th down before rushing for the winning score.

Why I should be jealous of a meaningless preseason ranking? You seem a bit sensative to go crazy over something like this...

Nebraska is projected to vault Colorado, which is someone giving NU tons of love even though the gap between those two was much less than 33 points and 4 games. I was merely applying snrfan's logic to the opposite division of the conference.

Ur right, I am being sensative.....

You were. My point was: why are you suprised NU is picked to vault a small distance to get ahead of CU but not surprised OU is picked to vault a large distance to get ahead UT. And you went off like a fire alarm "OMG U DUMB HORN AAHAHAH YOUR JEALOUS OF US!!!!"

I'll be sure to give u props the next time u win the NC.......Should be about 27 more years!!!!!!......

Good irrelevant change of subject. Neither of us has any idea when either of our next championships will come and one homer's opinion (whether a UT homer or an OU homer) doesn't mean much to me.

Losing your star QB will hurt your team horn. Ask me about it.

27 yrs is giving you the benefit of the doubt....And figuring on number of NC's since 1950..... Am I surprized NU is predicted # 1 in north, no!!! North is up in the air for the first team to go .500 in conference......

Actually, if these things go in cycles, we'll win another in 2011.

We won in '63 and again in '69. After winning our first, we won again 6 years later.

1969 - 1963 = 6

2011 - 2005 = 6.

At least in Horn math those equations are true.

I have 0 doubt that losing Vince will hurt this team, and I never said otherwise. I simply denied that losing him was like losing the entire team.

It's possible to lose a great player and still win the RRW again. We should know since every year we pulled out "This year you okies don't have [Heupel, Griffin, Rocky Calmus, Roy Williams, etc]" only to lose anyway. Roy Williams should have won the Heisman in my opinion and he might be the best defender in Texas-OU history (my homer side says Tommy Nobis - it'd be hard to go wrong with either guy), and yet we got shut out next year all the same.

The 6 year cycle was with Royal.....Mack will not be around long enough (20+ yrs) for #2.....

Don't even try to compare the 2005 shorthorns to the 2000 SOONERS......No comparison........"HEART".........
