speaking of co-workers

The frig in the kitchen here at work is not making ice like it normally does. Well a lady here says it might be cause the water is so dirty. I look at her in total amasement. Could there be any truth to this or do I work with simpletons.

It could have built up enough of a sediment layer that it finally clogged the
water line, or the filter in the water line to the icemaker.

I would think if there is a lot of dirt buildup from the water it could clog the ice maker, but what do I know. I make my ice the old fashioned way, with plastic trays.
