I've noticed that if I drive 65mph I get 35.4 mpg. If I drive 70mph I get 32.

and this recent discovery is gonna save me big bucks. I changed the oal in mah car on 6-24 and the sticker says to come back on 9-24 or at 30,783 miles. I'm at 31,238 right now.

I like to do 60-65 and draft off trailer trucks. I can get around 40mpg doing that, just have to be sure to brake faster than them.

My FIL just bought a Jetta TDI, he's getting 44MPG. He's happy now.

Know what else helps? Turn off your A/C compressor. Since my A/C broke my car jumped from averaging 16 mpg in town to about 20. I get about 26 on the highway. Of course, I tend to arrive much sweatier now.
