I'm thinking Middle Tenn (4th game) and here's why......He needs to Average 260 ypg (no problem) to break NCAA career rushing yds.

I was seriously thinking this game too but how sweet would it be if he did it against Hook 'em on an 80 yd. td run.

Actually 260 per game would leave him still needing 40 yds forHook 'em.... So 80 yds td on first play from scrimage againstHook 'em would work...

I hope he does it vs sexaT, that would be fitting seeing as how he will run for 350 and 5tds against them

AD will break the record by 1000 yds...

...break our hearts. Answer: The Bowl game because we probably won't see him in Crimson again.http://espn-att.starwave.com/media/ncf/2004/1009/photo/r_peterson_i.jpg

He'll do it against UT in front of his dad. If he gets within a yard of the record against MTS, I hope they pull him and let him do it in front of his father. He should be monstorously huge against UT this year...

Had it not been for the injuries last year, this could have been a very real possibility (assuming he doesn't break it in the bowl game last year).

I definetly could've messed this up but...for AD to break the OU record, he'll need to avg:

218 yds/game to break in 5 games (Texas)

182 yds/game to break in 6 games (ISU in Norman)

156 yds/game to break in 7 games (Colorado in Norman)

136 yds/game to break in 8 games (@ Mizzou)

Of our non-conf opponents, only Oregon will have a defense comparable to what we'll face in conference play. So, it's possible he could get it in 5 if he has an awesome day in Dallas.

Most likely it will be at home against either Iowa St. or the Buffs (assuming good health).

Speaking of that, I would love for AD to be OU's first 300 yard rusher. If he's healthy I think he does it at least once this year.

Other than Pruitt (294), Parker got close (291) in '97 against Texas, and he would have shattered 300 had a couple of long runs not been called back due to holding. One was close to the end of the game and the hold was well behind that play. Frustrating!

I say AD gets 300 against Middle Tenn. St. Oh, and Texas of course! ;-)

OSU... all in one game. hehe... he'll be breaking free every down all day long in the Stool. Assuming we hold him back that long...

HA! They lost Ngata and I don't hink they'll be ready for a 100% healthy AD with a good OL blocking for him. Remember what he did to AFLAC last time we played them at Norman when they had Ngata...

The Ngata loss is huge but they do return a solid group from last year when they were the best defense in the Pac-10.

They're not gonna be an elite defense, but it should be better than a number of Big XII defenses we'll face.

He may get 260 per game because Bob will see to it that he averages about 54 carries.

I dunno about that... wasnt USC the best defense ever?
