My A/C is only a few years old, but in this heat it runs all afternoon. I hope the thing doesn't die.

Holy ****. You all have fun with that. That has to be a record, right? Or was it somehow hotter in 1908?

Is this a new line of golf clubs?

OU4LIFE

yes, but they are only good for British Open type courses, you wouldn't be interested.

I tried to go on my tuesday bike ride last night, it was 106 when we started. I made it about 7 miles and turned around and headed to the house. It was just too damn hot. Round trip was only 14 miles, instead of my usual 25. ICKY.

Ran 4 miles at lunch yesterday and it wasn't too bad......breezy and not much humidity. Bike ride around 9:00 p.m. was fine also. Of course, if I was sweating like that in my suit, I would have passed out.

Don't you guys get an hour a day in the yard, or have you been segregated from the general population for your own protection?

1980 sucked pretty hard, too. I think Wichita had 100 consecutive days over 100 degrees that summer. I'm glad I was all of 6 months old - I don't remember a bit of it.

I remember that summer well. People were collapsing from the heat while wearing their "I Shot JR" t-shirts.

Not if it was over 100 degrees you couldn't.

if it's over 100 degrees, it'd have to be a diving contest.

That's no joke...people will die up there. And since Seattle is so last decade nobody will care.
