...and Lindy's has OU behind saxet. Unfortunately for Lindy, that means he has to die in a fire.

And he's got us #1 this year. I feel all warm and fuzzy.

Gold Sheet's got us numero uno as well, FWIW.

yeah well, Gold Sheet also has Kstate picked to win the north, everyone else has them last or next to last.

gold sheet doesn't look like its very old. if you click the left button you can see the historical stuff. steel is usually within 3, well except for 2000...

I was just pointing out the gold sheet thing.

Preseason rankings just hack me the hell off anyway. Bob says they don't matter, but they do. I just hate that they matter. There shouldn't even BE a poll until after the first full slate of games. Week 2 minimum.

I think it would be interesting if someone could post an official opening Vegas line for the past 10 years or so on odds of winning the NC... see how that stacks up against final rankings... I'd "bet" it's pretty scary...

Sign #1 that the human race has too much time on their hands:

We not only have people that predict the outcome of future events, we have people who predict the outcomes of the people who predict the outcomes. ;)

Sign #2? The sport of "lawn mower racing"...

He's probably pretty accurate over a period of time, but last year he picked A&M to win the South (and the B12, I think).

I've heard a couple of Horns say that OU is cursed this year since Phil Steele had them #1. They looked like they had a good year last year. So I guess we'll see what happens.
