Anyone ever flyfish the Provo or Green rivers in Utah?

I will be there for a leadership conference the end of Sept and was gonna try some fly fishing while I'm there.

I almost took a raft trip down the Green River but I had to cancel due to circumstances. I really wish I would have made that trip now.

I've Fly Fished in Colorado a few times but not Utah.

Probably about the same though.

Are you worried about a license or something?

I hooked myself in the leg fly fishing. I fought like hell, started to get it mounted.

Rafted the Green but did not fish. One night we were going to set up camp by the river and some kind of maylfies were mating or spawning or whatever the heck they do. They everywhere, and we couldn't even pitch our tent without those things getting in our hair, in our eyes. When you swatted one the splattered all over the place.

Ended up being a Holday Inn night.
