yay for noticing things.
(btw, I think it goes off the heat index because it popped up for me a few days ago for days predicted to be 93 and 95, but not for the following day which had a prediction of 96)

How come mine doesn't have the little emblems like that?

It's an extention you can download called forecastfox. Look at tools/extensions
then "get more extensions" link at bottom of window.
