..............I think. Its a 2003 Explorer with 74K miles. Brand new tires and looks new. A lady was just trading it in on a new Navigator when we got to the lot. I'm getting it for $7800 cash. :D We have an Eddie Bauer Explorer right now but it just went over 160K miles. I'm gonna miss the leather seats and rear a/c but I think this deal is too good to pass up. Our old one is a 1997 and the book value is $5150. What should I ask for it?

Thanks but I just looked it up online.

$12,100 Trade-in
$14,700 Retail

I may just sell it and the old one and get an even newer one. :D
The book price on the old one is $5150. I figure I can sell the old one for $4500 and the new one for $13,500. I can pay off the approx. $8000 I borrowed on the new one and I'll still have $10,000 left over. Then I can go buy a newer one for around $18,000. I'll borrow $8000 and put $10,000 down. I bet I can get a 2005 and be out the same amout of money I was going to be on the 2003. I'm confusing myself.
