If castro does die, what exactly will change? His regime is so vast & loyal to the communist principles that the only thing I can see dying is castro, but not the communism of Cuba. Unless someone born well after the Bay of Pigs comes into power, I don't see castro's death changing anything.

Rush reported that he has colon cancer and that is what the surgery is for. That and the report he had surgery for intestinal bleeding doesn't sound too good. I would bet he has an advanced colon/stomach cancer and may be ripe to kick the bucket...Anouncing his bro as the new "el presidente" will give him time to consolidate forces and ensure his transition...

I say burry the hatchet with em if he dies.

Get Bush on a plane, go to Havanna, tell them the embargo is off if Cuba makes some changes, and kill them slowly with capitalism.

This would also allow for me to get some good geegars and do some good diving there.
