I'm thinking about getting one. I've looked into getting another TiVo (actually it will be a DirecTV "PVR"). DTV's website is offering one for $99 but with a 2 year contract extention.
I saw this at Wally-Mart the other day. It's only $298.

If I can get the same benefits as a TiVo without the subscription it's win/win for me. I've already got the satellite set up so all I'd have to do is integrate this in.
I will not miss a game this year!
