even after I reminded him that the same guy that did the succ that was The Thin Red Line did Th New World.....

I just heard him scream, "please come kill me."

I warned him in advance there would be little talking and music and scenery would be telling the story in an attempt to drive him insane.

Honestly, the direction, sets, scenery, and cinematography make it worth watching, same with The Thin Red Line. I could even overlook the presence of Colin Farrell.

Terrence Malick doesn't tell stories like most other directors, his work is an acquired taste.
