That's the new casino they're building at Hwy 9 West and I-35. My shop is across the Interstate from it, so I see it every day.

They (sort of) have the video screen out front working. This morning it said "August 26, Pat Benatar". YES! Hit me with your best shot!

It should be a pretty neat place. It reminds me of an "Off The Strip" casino in Vegas that doesn't have a hotel.

There are other websites besides Soonerfans? :D

I didn't even know they were having a concert arena. I thought they were, but wasn't sure.

That's just north of where my Sister and BIL bought a new place. It looks pretty nice.

My parents live in Crystal Lakes. They're not too happy that the biggest casino in Oklahoma is just down the street.

Well, my "Just North" means 5 or 6 miles. :)

We have a Native American casino in Perkins thats just been rennovated from old trailer park drab to new trailer park drab and reminds me of going to a Super Walmart at midnight.

If they see a dude wearing a hockey mask holding a machete, they should run the other way.

I've noticed quite a few houses in that addition for sale lately. The thought of drunken broke gamblers knocking on your door at 2 a.m. for some bus fare doesn't sound too goo to me either.

Most of the casinos don't serve alcohol do they?

Maybe not, but I doubt they will throw a fit if you run to your car and grab a few swigs here and there. That's the only way I could stay up and gamble into the evening.

Tell them you are from Nigeria and your family's fortune is in jeopardy by the new dictator and if you could have access to their bank account you would share the $500,000,000,000,000,000,000 with them.
