for those of you so inclined I'm asking for prayers for my mom...

she has emphysema, she has had a pretty rough year with the emphysema, had pneumonia a few times, been in and out of the hospital, etc...

well, last night she told me she was having a lot of swelling in her ankles and went to the doc about it...then I found out this morning she woke up in the middle of the night trouble breathing, coughing up blood and then maybe passed out...she was rushed to hospital (I think Mercy in Yukon, not sure) and she is (as far as I understand) intubated, her lung is fluid-filled and she is sedated and stable from what my dad tells me, she also apparently had congestive heart failure due to all the edema and swelling...

just asking for prayers for her health, her comfort and salvation...also prayers for my dad and me and my family right now...

it is tough being here in NY, not sure what to do just yet...

Thanks

Brian

What a terrible, painful disease Emphysema must be. Thoughts out to your entire family, Brian.
