A lose to MSU would be a hell of a way to break in the new stadium.....

I was thinking the same thing...that win vs. Northern Iowa is respectable in my opinion. They have been a 1AA Power for a while....

I say OSU wins, but not by much. If they lost they would never hear the end of it though..

almost like when Alabama came to Hawaii a few years back and got SPANKED.
Or when Alabama got beat by Louisiana Tech a few years back..

Wow..the Tide has committed some atrocities in the last 10 years.

The NU/USC game will be a watershed game for the nebs. If they can pull of a win it will launch that program back into success mode at least mentally and the north can reclaim some respect...finally. Obviously trojan has superior talent and a better coach but 90% of the O will be as green as a goard. I think NU has a better than fair shot at winning that game especially early in the season.

MSU is the former (as of last year) SWMSU (Southwest Missouri State U., in Springfield). It is a large school and could slowly become a football power in years to come. My late love, Martha, (Gone to Heaven, '03) graduated from SMS, as they called it, circa 1990 or so. She was ever loyal to "Da' Bears".
Probably the result of someone having too much time on their hands or wanting to assure their "legacy", same as SWTSU in San Marcos becoming Texas State...BS!
On the bright side, Springfield still has the original Bass Pro Shop store. Of course, it may be changed to Missouri Pro State soon.

I'm really looking forward to Washington coming down to Norman. They haven't been doing too good the last few years, but Willingham is a great coach imo.

Sam Houston State @ Texas. That'll be one for the ages.

Sept. 9 could be huge for OU.

Hopefully, Penn St. can surprise Notre Dame....that'd mean a setback for Brady Quinn and 2 of the Top 5 would fall (along w/ the tOSU-Texas loser).

Assuming no major meltdown at home, that'd prolly put us in the Top 3 heading into Eugene w/ AD as the Heisman favorite.

If MSU (formally SMS) can bring it's football program up to the level of basketball excellence it's had, there will be good times in Springfield, MO.
