I have been watching last years games and still want to retch every time OU runs the stretch.Even with Bomar running out to hand the ball to AD (instead of White limping out to do it).it is do slow in developing,by the time theexchange is made and the ball secured the corner is lost and the sweep goes nowhere.

Having talked to the coaches I know that the primary reason for the stretsh play over a pitch is ball security. From what I have witnessed with the slowness of the stretch though is that defenders are often in the backfield before the exchange is complete.I am all for the stretch if it is used as a form of option with Bomar running or leaving it with the TB,otherwise I say ditch it.Just my humble opinion.

I'll ask Coach Stoops to let me run a full-option. That way I can avoid Rufus by just tossing the ball OUt to AD...

might have had something to do with outside zone blocking and young recievers. i like the play, especially with AD, not many defensive backs going to bring him down once he hits the edge.

F yea.

I also want to see some triple option when we're blowing teams out this year.

IMHO - the reason the stretch had problems last year was the o-line,this year may be a diffrent story.
