Anyone ever eat one of these?

http://www.cherrymash.com/cherrymash/mash-large.jpg

I have seen them in the stores ever since I could remember, but never had tried one. WOW! These are my new vice. I absolutely love them. If you haven't ever tried one, I highly suggest it.

The centers taste kind of like the chocolate covered cherrys filling, but not runny. The outside is chocolate with crushed peanuts in it.

They are excellent, if you like cherry flavor. Try one. You'll be saying, "Wow, I could have been eating these my whole life!"

They even have recipes on the outside. One is to take two of them and melt them then pour over ice cream. That would be yuuuuummy.

YES!

I have loved these things since I was about three years old. They are awesome. But when you ask people if they've ever tried one, they look at you like you're crazy. They need better PR.

I've eaten three in the last two days. In fact, I was getting ready to make a post about it!

There are recipes on the package also.

No kidding. I tried one after 30+ years just as a goof. Now I'm mad I didn't try them a long time ago.

I've eaten those all my life too.... If you can master chewing off all the peanut crunchy layer and saving the sweet red cherry middle for last it just enhances the Cherry Mash experience.

They have been around forever. You use to be able to buy them by the box at Pratts in Oklahoma City for less that $2.00. My mom would get them for my brothers and their teammates.

They are pretty good but be sure to brush after eating one. Those little oily nuts, the sugary cherry center and all that chocolate will cause decay.

Ooh. I like to mix it all up and taste the cherry, chocolate and peanuts all at once. It's like a party in my mouth.

They should write down the method for eating it all at once and coating first. They could call it something like a recipe or something. Then, they could print it on the wrapper.

BRILLIANT!

One of the recipes is for pudding and it says to melt a bar and pour it over cornstarch or tapioca. You know, I'm not the best chef in the world, but melted candy bar over pure cornstarch would be a bit to corn starchy for me.

Cherry Mash is like Del Rancho. Looks and tastes like old.

It's the retarded red-headed step-child of candy.

It's on the same level with black licorice and that orange wrapper Halloween candy.

I probably have some uneaten orange wrapper Halloween candy left in the bottom of a plastic pumpkin somewhere. And I'm totally gonna throw it at Rhino next time I see him. You can run, but you can't hide my friend.

I've seen these my whole life and everytime I did I thought "old people candy".

Not unlike the orange, squishy peanut-shaped candy and candy corn.

However, I'm not again tryin' it if'n you young, hip folks say it tastes good.

To the old-people candy list I would add Bit-O-Honeys, Chick-O-Stick, Boston Baked Beans, and those chocolate covered, hard buttercreme things with the un-PC moniker n****r toes.

The Walmart chocolate covered cherry's at christmas are the best.

So are the ones that the Amish make on the other side of Tulsa.
