COLUMBIA, S.C. -- Clemson offensive lineman Roman Fry was driving the personal watercraft that struck and killed the school's assistant track coach last weekend.

The state Natural Resources Department says alcohol was not thought to be a contributing factor in the accident on Lake Keowee, where Jarrett Foster, 32, died from head injuries Saturday.

As a bass fisherman who has seen all too many stupid antics and resultant accidents involving jetskis, I HATE those Lake Lice! But, moreover, I grieve for a young man and his family. My prayers are on the way.

That is terrible. Very sad situation.

I too don't care for the jetskis, partiularly the drivers of them. They are
very negligent around here, and obey no laws.
