I am terribly sorry you had calls to your home number forwarded to your cell phone.

I am heartbroken that you took your cell phone to Europe with you.

I am embarrassed as all get out that I don't have ESP, and thus was unable to divine all the above information, and so when I made a call to your home number to ask you a two-second, work-related question about your biographical information, it cost you a lot of money.

Your indignant whine about the expense of this particular phone call makes me feel so guilty and shameful that I am tempted to go bury my face in a pint of Cherry Garcia.
