Makes me wonder what Materazzi said to him. It would take a lot to cause a pro soccer player to lose his mind in the last game of his career in a World Cup final.

He was born in France to Algerian parents, so he has dual citizenship.

Yeah, the French players are claiming that Materazzi made a racist remark towards Zidane.


Zidane has been one of my favorite players to watch, but it's sad to see him lose his temper so easily, especially since he's one of the best players of all time. I hate to see him end his career like this.

he made profane references repeatedly about Zidane's mother and sister. All because Zidane sneered at him after a shirt pulling incident and said to him in Italian "If you want my shirt so bad, I'll give it to you after the game"
