You need to find yourself a messican. If he dies from the heat there are like 7868689879765764 more where he came from.

I don't know what the heat index is here in OKC, but I just finished putting some mulch in some flower beds and I was sweating like a pig. It's not terribly hot, but it feels humid.

OKC = 88 degrees, but 31%RH, the heat index is 86 with the low RH

doesn't feel like low RH to me.

Maybe it's cause I watered the yard. I think the RH is more like 50% in my yard. :D

BOTH my kids came back home. :D  :D yes at the same time. I built a 30 x 40 metal building and it is full of JUNK:mad:  . I am out there trying to make room for my motorcycle and room to get all my lawn equipment out so i can use it.

Time for a garage sale, trip to salvation army, then to the dump.

good part the beer box is full :D

"heat index" is something they made up so we'd feel worse than we
already do.

like the "wind chill factor". of course, you know it feels colder when the wind blows.

people in tejas talk about "temp is 95 & so is RH". it's almost never like that.
most of the time, when it gets hot, it (the weather) also dries out.

talkin about north tejas, not houston.

i refuse to pay somebody else to mow my own yard

imo its the height of laziness for a homeowner who's in good health..

Flag
i've been thru there many times; but can only remember staying there
once or twice.

came thru in mid-december of 67. there was 42 inches of snow on ground, &
6" more when we left, the next morning. quite an adventure. drove 2200
miles going from LA to tulsa.
