Does anyone else take supplements for their workouts? The following has helped me to go from 185 to 210. I am almost back to my playing weight with bigger biceps.

Whey Protein
MuscleTech® Leukic
MuscleTech® GAKIC
MuscleTech® Creakic
CytoSport™ Muscle Milk
MuscleTech® CELL-TECH

I don't take all of them at once other than the Whey Protein. Damn....looking good costs a lot of $$$$$$!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I asked about it in HS and my doctor said just to drink Ensure with extra protein. That got me to about 195 back then and was probably a lot cheaper.

Curling 55's slowly without arching your back as sweat trickles off your temple is a pretty good supplement.

like someone already said the only supplement you listed that's any good is the whey protein. Eat protein, you can put stuff like flaxseed on your cereal. But in the end it all come down to hard work and the right diet.

Try a recliner, and a 12 pack of beer.

oh not that I'm a body builder but for biceps try tilting your wrists back when you curl and don't come all the way up on the curl. If you come all the way up you give yourself a rest at the top, by not coming all the way up you keep more weight on your bicep.

I love these type statements...especially when it come to a $59.99 bottle of pump pills.

Supplements can never replace good diet and if you have a good diet...you probably only need a multi-vitamin.

Yep.....I eat right "most of the time" and take multi-vitamins.......

Of course there is always the "anti-aging" programs involving medically supervised testosterone and HGH supplementation.

$2500 for the initial evaluation, and up to $800/month for the program.

I used the Cell-Tech creatine, but not in the dosage they suggest, which is (a) enough to choke a horse, and (b) drive up their profits because the damn can is only half full anyway when you buy it. That's all I use. I'm suspicious of the other stuff.

Oh, and anything with whey in it makes me crap like an ox. Avoid whey, people.

IMO you can save yourself lots of money on supplements by going to failure every single set. Don't cheat yourself in the gym, you won't have to let GNC cheat you.

Supplement protein if you can't get enough. Creatine if you just can't break a plateau. All that other **** is snake oil. The body builders might advertise it, but it's the Deca/Dura, the Synthol, etc that's getting them there.
