I didn't know anyone liked him. Shouldn't have been an anonymous poll.

Lots of people here don't like him when he does Big12 games because they think he's an OU fan.

I can't hate someone who has the exact same criminal record in Nebraska as me.

IMHO, he was at his best when Dick Vermeil was his color man. They made for an entertaining pair.

There should be a "I don't really care one way or another" option...

He's a "love him" or "hate him" kind of guy.

I don't know about "like" him, but he doesn't bother me.

I think he does a good job. With Danielson going to CBS this season though, he might not be as good. GD is the best color man there is.

He always talks up OU. I like him for that alone.

Oh, and his call on Antwon Savage's kickoff return against Texas in 2002 was a masterpiece.

"Midfield, and he can explode"...

I'm more of a Mike Tirico fan myself.

Ron Franklin & Mike Gottfried were a great team. Keith Jackson was great.

The only gripe I have against him is that he tends to over-dramatize sometimes. Brent, I know how (un)important that last play was, don't try to trick me into thinking I just witnessed the greatest play of the year.

His tendency to over do it also manifests itself in his words about the players and coaches. I think a lot of fans don't like Brent because they think he's being too complimentary of their opponents. But I think he's pretty fair, spreading it out pretty evenly.

i like brent, i think he's pretty staright down the middle as far as calling plays. course i've got a helluva buzz right now, so maybe tomorrow would be a better time for me to answer this question. but as for now, i like him
