Nah, unless you're comitted to sitting in front of the White House rotting for long periods of time, there's absolutely no point to a hunger strike.

This is easily one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. Gee, not gonna eat for 24 hours? There are kids in Africa for whom that is a typical day.

For hunger strikes to be effective, someone has to give two sh1t$ about the hunger striker -- thats Gandhi 101. In this case, it won't be effective.
