Frozen Sooner

Panasonic 42" Plasma. Smaller than the RP it's replacing, but I'm trying to reduce the footprint of all the electronic junk in the living room.

I can write a check for a Yukon, but I feel like it's smarter to finance it so that I can pay for insurance that I think is a ripoff. So there.

And damn it, it NEEDS TO BE BIGGER!

A bigger screen doesn't necessarily make your package look bigger in those home videos. So I am told.;)

WHen you live in Alaska though what else is there to spend money on besides things that help staying in doors more tolerable? :D

I've got a very good friend from HS who joined the Army and had a choice between a station in Hawaii or Alaska and she chose Alaska. SHe's out of the army now, but she ended up getting married up there and isn't going to leave.

Warm>Cold.

I wonder if it was a delivery woman?

Frozen Sooner

Watching porn on a bigscreen is way overrated. 3" pimples are NOT cool.

Yes, it's here, and it's spectacular.

does alaska have the same problem that we have in colorado with plasma's? I've heard because of the elevation, they make a humming sound, and have a lower life expectancy

yeah, i have a friend in alaska and he went through 3 plasmas in a little over a year. each one was warrantied.
finally he went another direction after he found out the plasmas won't last up there

?

I'm in Anchorage. Anchorage is at sea level (well, it moves back up into the hills, but Anchorage is a major port.) Can't imagine there's a whole lot of problems with elevation here. Haven't heard a humming noise from the TV yet.

The old job had several plasmas scattered around the office that have been running for 10 hours a day 6 days a week for three years with no problems yet.

But yeah, I got the warranty.

THat problem has generally been resolved by the majors like pani, pioneer etc...
Don't knw if you can go all he way to denver yet but I know there is no problem in the mountains of New Mexico.
