I posted about Peja over in the SO, but I thought I would start a thread over here about all FA moves.

Melo - Resigns with Nuggets for Max Extention
JET - Resigns with Mavs for 6yr/50+ Mil
Peja - Verbally Agrees to 5yr/64 Mil deal with Hornets
V. Radmonovich - Verbally Agrees to 5yr/30 Mil deal with Lakers
Cassel - Resigns with Clippers for 2yr/13 Mil

Bron Bron has yet to agree to a max deal with Cleaveland.

Oh..and Tim Thomas to the Lakers as well.
I thought Thomas was going to the Clippers; at least that's what I thought I saw on the ESPNews ticker.

Nene - 6yr/60 Mil dollar deal to stay with Nuggets

mixed reaction on Denver radio. I like Nene, but the guy played 3 minutes last year--they say he's 100%, but injuries are unpredictable. the Nugs really need someone to shoot the 3....Peja would have been a good fit. but props to the Hornets for making a move.

Nice move to steal Peja away from Indy.

But BJax?

Prepared to be spared to death, Hornets fans.

My pops (Nets fan) said the Nuggets problem (used to be a Nuggets fan when he lived in Denver) began the day they signed Kenyon Martin....I tend to agree.

there's no doubt about that. the guy is a dog. I suspect resigning Nene for 10 mil per says something about the future of K-Mart in Denver. but, they do need some outside shooting....Vashon "grampaw" Leonard is not making anyone respect the Nuggets on the perimeter. Andre Miller and Earl Boykins aren't doing it either.

Hornets are close to to deal with the Bulls that would send PJ Brown and J.R. Smith to Chicago for C/Tyson Chandler.

Not free agent, but still player movement:

Tyson Chandler is traded to the Hornets for JR Smith & PJ Brown

heh..and on an amusing front..not exactly a free agent signing, but John Paxson has hired his brother Jim as a "Consultant"

hurricane'bone

heh. I wish I had a brother that would sign me on as a "consultant" for a few mil a year.
