If you're lucky, the HMFIC hasnt run out of the really cool sponsor gifts you get when you pay up. Mine is with me always.
It was easily worth twice what the last years sponsor gifts were worth.

the benefit is knowing that you contributed to something that you get alot out of....if you can pony up a bronze sponsorship, that helps Phil keep this place where we can all congregate and have a good time
