Candlebox is playing the same day as the UAB game here in Dallas.

I'm seriously considering skipping the game to go to this concert...

and telling them to Stop. Please. Stop.

Tulsa peeps, I plead for you to go to Cain's Ballroom on the Sep 7th and do the same.

I wish they would have left it all behind. :D

I just noticed that they were on tour a couple days ago. I'm surprised they're still together. Their first CD was classic, after that, listen at your own risk.

At least they didn't bring 7 Mary 3 out on tour with them.

Would it be surprising if I've never heard of them? For real. I've heard of Matchbox something or other, but never candlebox.

Knowing you, Dean?

No, it would not be surprising. :)

Bingo. First CD is amazing. I own all the others, but I never listen to them.

This is funny. Their wikipedia entry says:
"Candlebox announced that they will release a "Best Of" album on May 23, 2006."

Hmm, I'd have to look, but I bet this is the track list:
1) Far Behind
2) Cover Me
3) Far Behind (Live in Seattle)
4) Cover Me (Live at Red Rocks)
5) Far Behind (FunkmasterZ Club Remix)
6) Cover Me (Oakenfold Bitaz Groove)
7) Far Behind (acoustic, MTV Unplugged)
8) Cover Me (acoustic, live)

You guys are missing the point.

Yes, they're first album was good...When it came out 16 years ago. They haven't even had a CD out for 8 years. Must be running out of money.

If ever there was a band that blatantly ripped off another, it would be Candlebox ripping Mother Lovebone.

I'm not a big fan of either...

In Silverchair's defense, they were like 15 when Frogstomp was released...They have improved tremendously since then. They have gotten better with every cd they have released IMO. Diorama is an excellent cd.
